Our program will feature Dr. Ruth Potee, recently honored by the Franklin District Medical Society as 2015 Community Clinician of the year; featured nationally for her expertise in the area of
adolescent brain development and
its impact on teenage risk taking, including alcohol and substance abuse.
Dr. Potee blends scientific research with hands-on understanding of the challenges of raising healthy teens.
Parents, guardians, grandparents, and community members will gain insights into how the teen brain develops and functions, and how to apply this knowledge in daily interactions with teens.
