Changes to Baystate Mary Lane Hospital:
- ED is still open - inpatient procedures will occur at Baystate Wing - no nurses or doctors are losing their jobs due to the merger - Please spread the word Trinity reaches out to the community in many ways, striving to meet the basic needs of those in need of support. The Jubilee Cupboard – The Jubilee Cupboard provides emergency food assistance and is open Thursday from 9 AM until noon. Proof of residence is required. For more information please phone 413-967-3274 or email Jubilee_Cupboard@TrinityWare.org Donations of non-perishable food are welcomed by The Jubilee Cupboard during open hours or call the cupboard to arrange a convenient time. Food may also be donated to The Jubilee Cupboard at a drop off box at the Ware Big Y Supermarket. Monetary donations may be mailed to Jubilee Cupboard, P.O. Box 447, Ware, MA 01082. Trinity’s Table – On the third Tuesday of the month, anyone in Ware can be our guest for a hot meal. At noon,Trinity will serve lunch at Hillside Village to those in line for the Western Mass Food Bank delivery. Then at 6PM on the same day all are invited to come to the church for a hot meal. We welcome all who are hungry and in need of a warm meal. This is the only hot meal freely given to all in Ware. The Living Room – Available for small groups to come together for teaching, healing and support. Contact the church office to request an application for use and availability. Diaper Ministry – Diapers are expensive, but thanks to United Way and Bay State Medical, collaborating with Trinity, those in need of diapers may pick some up at Davis House Jubilee Cupboard on Thursdays from 9 AM to noon. Serv-Safe classes will begin shortly; was hoping to have more support for health / industrial training classes, but not yet. the YWCA now offers the Empower Your Life Financial and Personal Management Program. This program supports women in learning the basics of personal finances and how to strengthen their economic independence. The Empower Your Life program lasts for 10 weeks and includes personalized financial counseling and the use of a financial knowledge curriculum. Topics covered include financial statements, banking basics, the importance of credit and ways to protect and increase income.
