The funding comes from Workman’s Comp

Can find safety training providers via DIA website
Can hire 5 trainers within one grant
Can get trainings to deal with workplace violence, first aid cpr, de-escalation training
Funding operates in state fiscal year July-July
Goal: to get people to consider using their volunteer time to work with at risk kids
Walk from Boston to Pittsfield along Rt 9 to raise awareness
